Who we are

Previo Group (“Previo”, “we”) provides automated pre-employment screening for regulated firms and reputation-sensitive hiring across the UK and EU. Data controller contact: compliance@previo-group.com.

What we process

When an employer submits a candidate for screening, we process the candidate’s name, role, nationality, country of employment, and, where provided, supporting identifiers. We supplement this with publicly available information drawn from sanctions registries, corporate registries, adverse media, data-breach corpora, and official gazettes.

Lawful basis

Processing is carried out under UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest — balanced against the rights and freedoms of the data subject. A Legitimate Interests Assessment is available on request.

Retention

Screening reports are retained for the period required by the employer’s regulatory obligations, typically not exceeding six years, after which they are deleted.
